Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born on January 27 in 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, and a former official in government. Heather served as Spokesperson for the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her positions at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March until October 2018. Nauert was also appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
